This folder contains several promotional brochures, a post card, and descriptions of the Alps Lodge in Boulder Canyon, Colo. The Lodge was composed of a number of separate buildings, (in 1990) 1.9 miles up Boulder Canyon from the Boulder City limits.

The 1911 Boulder City Directory (p. 22, 134), lists The Alps, John W. Ripley (wife Mary), proprietor, Madie E. and Martha C. Ripley, residents, 4 miles (p. 22 says 3 miles) up Boulder Canyon. The Alps Lodge, Box 187, Magnolia Star rural route, is listed in the 1923 (p. 244) and 1926 (p. 244) Boulder County directories.
